  We started going to this church based on their weekly sermons that they publish online. Shopping for churches when you're in a new area can be a bit tedious and sometimes downright scary. I've gone to churches where I had to walk out before the service finished because the practices were downright 'creepy'.
  
  EVUMC took the guesswork out of it by having a clear statement of faith on their website, and as I mentioned, publish their sermons. This makes it easy to scrutinise and see if what they're preaching is Biblical.
  
  I'm glad to say that this congregation was welcoming and friendly. No weird speaking in tongues or casting of evils every Sunday. What they do have is an amazing choir led by a husband and wife team, Charles (Director) and Eulene (Piano/Organ).
  
  Pastor Bob keeps his sermon short and to the point. His wife Rev.Pam leads the children's ministry that my kids absolutely love. They didn't attend church before going here and it's made them love going every Sunday. My 3 year old daughter loves her Sunday school teacher so much, we hired her as a babysitter.
  
  18 months on and we've met so many great friends here.
  
  So, if you're looking for a warm, loving, friendly environment to try out church and learn about God, you can't go wrong at EVUMC.

  I'm an active member of this church, which is working to form all of its members into an integrated Christian faith community. Come worship and serve with us! :)
